Live, Love, Latch!^® is a National Breastfeeding Month celebration presented by La Leche League USA and hosted by LLL USA Groups across the country. Live, Love, Latch!^® events are designed not only to celebrate breastfeeding but also to highlight community support.

The month of August is National Breastfeeding Month!

Weekly Observations for the 2025 National Breastfeeding Month:

• Week 1 – World Breastfeeding Week (August 1-7): Prioritise Breastfeeding: Create Sustainable Support Systems
• Week 2 – Indigenous Milk Medicine Week (August 8-14): Unapologetically Indigenous: Love, Landback, & Liberation
• Week 3 – Asian American Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Breastfeeding Week (August 15-21): Diverse Voices, One Vision
• Week 4 – Black Breastfeeding Week (August 25-31): Boots on the Ground: Rooted in Breastfeeding Success, Grounded in Community Support
• Week 5 – Workplace Lactation Week (September 1-7): A World of Support: Creating Breastfeeding-Friendly Workplaces Everywhere!
• Week 6 – Semana de La Lactancia Latina (September 8-14): Territorio del Corazon/Latancia sin Fronteras (Territory of the Heart/Breastfeeding without Borders)
• Week 7 – Deaf & Hard of Hearing Breastfeeding Week (September 16-22): Close the Gap, Bridge the Divide: Establish Breastfeeding Support Access

This celebration provides an opportunity to encourage and educate family, friends, healthcare providers, and other community members about how they can support breastfeeding and emphasizes the value of the support network behind every nursing dyad.
