Out of the Mouths of Nurslings: Moments With Eleanor

At the beginning of the year, Laura Carrihill Lamb of Hartford, Connecticut, shared this glimpse of life with her nursling, Eleanor:

“My munchkin claims ‘I’m tired’ when I get home so that I’ll lie down with her in bed and nurse her. When I lift up my shirt she greets my breasts excitedly: ‘Oh hello!’ This cracks me up.

She’s taken to feeding her dolls/animals in her makeshift carriers (I sometimes nurse her to sleep in a carrier).”

Has your child ever said something so clever, endearing, hilarious or simply surprising that you couldn’t help but share it with those around you? Out of the Mouths of Nurslings gives breastfeeding parents a place to share those words with readers around the United States and even the world.

If you’d like to share your memorable moment with readers of the New Beginnings blog, send a brief recap (picture, too, if you’d like!) to Amy at [email protected].
