Oh, the Places a Mother Goes! Part 6
As 2016 winds down, we’d like to share a few more photos submitted by our readers from all over the world as they—and their nurslings— explored the sights and sounds of the communities around them.
Dawn nurses four-month-old Noelle during a hike up Mount Medvednica in Zagreb, Croatia, as eight-year-old sister Nicole shares a smile.
Roxanne of Rochester Hills, Michigan, writes: “My 10-month-old goes on most of my runs with me. During long runs we often find a bench so she can have a snack. I’ve never received anything but smiles from passers-by.”
Apple Mae Papada pauses for a moment with five-month-old daughter, Alondra, during a tour of the caverns in Luray, Virginia. “Fall is the perfect season to go and visit the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. We decided to explore a cave. It was only about an hour tour, but my dear daughter could not wait and wanted some ‘Momma time’, which I love doing, too!”
Erica shares a family tradition with readers: “This is my two-year-old daughter Hannah. She is nursing at the top of the Ferris wheel at the Wayne Regional Fair in Goldsboro, North Carolina. We go to the fair every year and I have nursed all three of my babies at the fair, but Hannah is the first to nurse on the Ferris wheel. She nursed there last year and the year before.”
Hamida nurses Ady while enjoying the lavender fields in the United Kingdom.
Diane shares this photo from earlier in the year as she nursed her then two-month-old son among the daffodils in Pelham, Tennessee.
During a trip on the Staten Island ferry, Melinda and her three-month-old daughter, Camila, shared a quiet nursing moment.
Rachel takes a lunch break with seven-month-old Lauren at the Houston, Texas, zoo.
New Beginnings would love to continue publishing your photos in the New Year, so please feel free to send your pictures to Amy at [email protected].
