Join LLLI for an Online Breastfeeding Support Meeting on October 1

La Leche League International (LLLI) will hold the first ever 24-hour online breastfeeding support meeting on October 1. This free digital meeting will bring together mothers from around the world and provide them with information, expertise, and camaraderie.

The meeting, which will run for 24 consecutive hours beginning at 5 a.m. on October 1, will be held in more than 15 languages by accredited La Leche League Leaders from around the globe. Leaders of the meeting include representatives from LLLI’s first-ever Korean Group, a team of Leaders offering an hour in Czech, Slovak, Bosnian, Serbian, and Croatian languages, and a mother and daughter team who will be leading an hour in Spanish. Participants simply log on to www.facebook.com/groups/LLLIGlobalMeeting/ the day of the event and join the conversation by contributing their questions, sharing their experiences, or providing encouragement to other mothers.

Ayu, The Traveling Doll

There’s also another component to the 60^th anniversary celebration—a traveling doll!

Ayu will be traveling around the world from October 1, 2016, to September 30, 2017, visiting LLL Leaders and Groups. She will begin the journey in Wellington, New Zealand. From there, Ayu’s travels are in your hands! If you would like Ayu to visit your country, please contact [email protected].
